5) Alexander Technique Workshop, March 30th

Unleash Your Inner Fire: Dancing with Passion, Presence, and Inspiration
"This flute is played with fire, not with wind." - Rumi

Sunday, March 30 11:00 - 1:00 PM
$35 advanced purchase
$40 at the door

A master class for dancers with Alexander technique teacher Nickolas Knightly

When we dance at our best the flute of the body is played with fire. This workshop is about simple things that unleash the fire within. When it burns, the people watching you become like moths watching a candle: they can't take their eyes off of you, they find you irresistible.

The Alexander Technique can help you dance with fire. We will work on practical things that can allow you to achieve new levels of presence, connection, and artistic expression as well as helping you improve your technique. Come ready to work on any technical or artistic challenge you currently face:

  • I want more stage presence
  • I want a better shimmy.
  • I want to feel more inspired.
  • I want to move more naturally
